OpenGL*

OpenGL is an application programming interface (API) for rendering 2D and 3D vector graphics. It allows developers of videogames, CAD programs, virtual reality and other graphic-intensive applications to have much faster graphic output using full power of the hardware accelerated rendering provided by the Graphic Processing Unit (GPU) – major component of modern video cards.

All major video card vendors support OpenGL specifications. But taking into account that OpenGL standard is developing, older drivers may not be compatible with modern OpenGL versions.

Specific versions of graphic programs may require specific versions of OpenGL. QuickField requires OpenGL 3.3 or newer.
